About Provigood and Vietnam
What does Provigood do?
Provigood is a consulting and trading company based in Ho Chi Minh City since 2018. We help FMCG, food, F&B, pharma, retail and logistics companies grow their business in, from and to Vietnam through three integrated activities: tailor-made strategic consulting (360° market entry, sales, sourcing, corporate services, M&A), human resources, search and selection and training under our Provigoodpeople brand, and the distribution of selected products such as Olivo Cold Logistics insulated containers and Le Caïffa compostable coffee capsules. We operate at the heart of a network of 250+ expert partners to deliver excellence with speed and agility.
Why is Vietnam a strategic market for food brands?
Vietnam is one of the world's fastest-growing markets for FMCG, retail and consumer products. Three factors make it strategic. First, a young, urbanizing population of over 100 million with rising purchasing power and growing appetite for premium and international brands. Second, a privileged trade position thanks to landmark agreements such as EVFTA, CPTPP and RCEP, which open Vietnam to European, North American and Asian exporters under favorable conditions. Third, its role as a manufacturing and logistics hub for Southeast Asia, making it an ideal entry point to the wider region.
Who is Vincent Treluyer?
Vincent Treluyer is the founder and CEO of Provigood. Originally from Brittany, France, he has 25 years of experience in strategy, business development, FMCG, retail and distribution, including more than 20 years in Asia (Taiwan, China, Vietnam). He has held senior positions at major international and local firms such as P&G, Lactalis, Bel, Casino Group and New Viet Dairy. Based in Ho Chi Minh City since 2009, Vincent is also Deputy Secretary of the Disciples of Escoffier in Vietnam and an active member of the local Franco-Vietnamese business community.
What sectors does Provigood serve?
Provigood specializes in food, beverage, FMCG, CPG, F&B, retail, and logistics. We also support adjacent sectors such as pharmaceuticals when projects involve cold chain, sales and distribution. Our clients range from international corporations (Panzani, Andros, Neovia/ADM, Maison Dennis Carambar, LDC) to growing SMEs and family-owned businesses. Whether you are looking to launch a new brand, set up a factory, build a distribution network, source products or recruit local talent, our sector-focused expertise ensures your project benefits from deep operational and cultural knowledge of the Vietnamese market.
Consulting & business development
How do I enter the Vietnamese food market?
Entering the Vietnamese food market typically follows four steps. First, understand the market through tailored research on consumer behavior, trade structure, regulations and competition. Second, accelerate growth with a clear go-to-market strategy, partner identification and brand activation. Third, optimize operations through local sourcing, recruitment and corporate services. Fourth, scale sustainably by building strategic partnerships and securing investments. Provigood guides clients through each step with a tailor-made approach, leveraging local expertise and a 250+ partner network. A typical engagement starts with a scoping conversation after you reach out via our contact form.
What are the legal steps to set up a subsidiary in Vietnam?
Setting up a subsidiary in Vietnam involves five main legal steps. First, choosing the right structure (representative office, branch, wholly foreign-owned enterprise, or joint venture). Second, applying for an Investment Registration Certificate. Third, applying for an Enterprise Registration Certificate. Fourth, completing post-opening formalities such as tax registration, social insurance, banking, and seal registration. Fifth, ensuring ongoing compliance with labor, tax and sector-specific regulations. Provigood's Corporate Services team handles the full process and works with our trusted legal partners (including Fidal Asiattorneys) to secure the most efficient setup for your business.
How long does a typical market entry project take?
Timelines vary by scope and ambition. A focused feasibility study or market survey takes 1 to 3 months. Legal incorporation of a subsidiary or representative office takes 2 to 4 months. A full end-to-end market entry, from initial study to first commercial activity, typically runs 6 to 12 months. Faster trajectories are possible when we leverage existing distributors or franchise structures. Our motto, "Excellence with speed and agility", reflects our commitment to compressing timelines without compromising quality. We provide a clear milestone plan upon receiving your brief.

What are typical salary benchmarks in F&B Vietnam?
Salaries in Vietnam's F&B sector vary significantly by role, location, company type and experience. As a general guide, an experienced country manager in Ho Chi Minh City typically earns USD 60,000 to 120,000 annually, while sales managers in FMCG range from USD 25,000 to 50,000. Hanoi tends to be slightly lower than HCMC for equivalent roles. Provigoodpeople provides custom salary benchmarks as part of our recruitment and consulting services, including detailed comparisons by sector, function and seniority, essential data for foreign companies sizing their team in Vietnam.
Distribution
How does Olivo Cold Logistics work?
Olivo Cold Logistics is France's #1 manufacturer of insulated containers, founded in 1956. Olivo insulated containers maintain perishable goods such as food and medicine at the right temperature without mechanical refrigeration. Using eutectic plates or cryogenic sources, Olivo containers preserve cold chain integrity for up to 12 hours (BOX) or 72 hours (BAC and ROLL). They allow multi-temperature deliveries in a single ambient truck or motorbike, drastically reducing fuel consumption, CO₂ emissions and last-mile delivery costs.
Are Le Caïffa coffee capsules truly compostable?
Yes. Le Caïffa capsules are fully compostable and made in Vietnam. They are produced by CapsuleCup Ltd. (formerly Bac Tam Tam Ltd.), the first company in Vietnam to design coffee capsules compatible with most capsule machines. The Arabica and Robusta beans are sourced from Dalat, Son La and Dak provinces, then masterfully ground, roasted and packed in Ho Chi Minh City. The capsules are an eco-friendly alternative to aluminum or plastic capsules, biodegrading naturally without harming Vietnamese soils, rivers or ecosystems.
Where can I find your products?
Le Caïffa products are distributed in office buildings, 5-star hotels, premium on and off-line retailers, clubs and select restaurants across Vietnam, Thailand and Cambodia.
Olivo Cold Logistics insulated containers are available B2B for food and pharma manufacturers, distributors and retailers, F&B and logistics operators handling temperature-sensitive products in Vietnam and Cambodia.
For pricing, technical specifications, samples, products demo requests or distribution inquiries on either product line, contact our team directly via the contact form or by email at: sales@provigood.com.
Can Provigood import and distribute my products in Vietnam?
Subject to confirmation of the product category, Provigood is licensed to import, wholesale, distribute and, where applicable, retail a wide range of products, including most food and fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG).
From a technical and regulatory standpoint, Provigood can support the full process required to register your products in Vietnam, as well as their importation, warehousing and distribution.
These activities are generally carried out on behalf of our customers and at their own cost and risk, depending on the scope and nature of the services required.
Partnership
What kind of partners do you look for?
Provigood is always looking for expert partners who can complement our service offering for clients in food, beverage, FMCG and hospitality. We seek collaborators in legal, marketing, sales, logistics, finance, HR, training, quality, sourcing, media, communication, and corporate services. Beyond technical expertise, we look for partners who share our values, integrity, excellence, simplicity, bring complementary strengths, demonstrate a proven track record, commit to mutual growth, and embrace cultural sensitivity to the Vietnamese market. Whether you are a freelance expert, a specialized firm or an institutional player, we welcome a conversation.
How does the partnership process work?
Our partnership process is structured around five steps. First, an initial consultation to discuss mutual goals, expectations and potential collaboration areas. Second, customized strategy development, where we co-create a working framework leveraging combined strengths. Third, resource allocation, defining roles, responsibilities, and timelines. Fourth, continuous communication through regular check-ins, feedback loops and progress updates. Fifth, performance evaluation to assess outcomes, identify improvements, and adapt the relationship as it grows. The process is collaborative and flexible, designed to build long-term partnerships based on trust and shared vision.
Do you offer commission-based or revenue-share models?
Yes. Provigood works with several partnership models depending on the type and scope of collaboration. These include strategic alliances for co-developed market entry projects, joint ventures for shared risks and capabilities, distribution partnerships with commission or margin-based models, technology partnerships for integrated solutions, and consultancy collaborations with project-based or revenue-share fees. The exact model is defined during the initial consultation, based on each partner's offering, the project scope, and the value created. Our priority is to design fair and motivating arrangements that drive mutual long-term success.
Working with Provigood
How are your services priced?
We use three pricing models depending on the engagement. Fixed-fee for scoped projects (most common for market entry studies, executive searches, training programs and factory setups). Monthly retainer for ongoing strategic and operational support. Success-based fees for distribution partnerships, M&A introductions and certain commercial missions. Every proposal is detailed and transparent, including deliverables, timeline, fees and assumptions. Time-tracking sheets and expense claims are shared throughout the engagement. There are no hidden fees and no surprises.
How quickly will you respond to my request?
We aim to respond to every qualified inquiry within one business day. Most discovery calls can be scheduled within 48 hours, depending on time-zone alignment. Detailed proposals are typically delivered within five business days of receiving a complete brief (mission, objectives, project scope, timeline, budget). For urgent projects, we can accelerate the timeline.
What languages do you operate in?
Our team operates in English, French and Vietnamese. Documents and proposals are typically delivered in English (the working language of most international clients), with Vietnamese translation provided when needed for local stakeholders. French is available for our Francophone clients and partners. For specific projects, we can also arrange Mandarin or Japanese support through our network.
How do you handle confidentiality?
All client engagements are governed by strict non-disclosure agreements, signed at the very first stage of any conversation. Provigood has handled confidential market entry, M&A, executive search and product launch projects for some of the world's largest food and FMCG groups for years. We treat every brief, and every candidate, with absolute discretion. References are shared only with explicit client authorization.
Where is Provigood based, and do you travel?
Provigood is headquartered at 16/1 Street 46, An Khanh Ward, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Our team operates across Vietnam, with regular travel to Hanoi, Da Nang, Can Tho, Hai Phong and major industrial zones. We also travel internationally to support clients at headquarters, trade fairs and key partner meetings. Vincent Treluyer regularly travels to France and across ASEAN.
What's the best way to start a conversation with you?

Third, message us on WhatsApp, Zalo or LinkedIn (links available on our contact page). Whichever you prefer, we'll get back to you within 48 hours.
